Metereologia

Ao vigésimo quarto dia do mes terceiro do ano da graca de dois mil e nove, venho por este meio informar sobre o fenómeno ocorrido nesta bela localidade.
Deu-se o inusitado caso de estar um tímido sol de Primavera (note-se que comecou no passado dia vinte deste mesmo mes) em perfeita simbiose com uma algo menos tímida coisa chamada: NEVE. As avós deste tempo dirao: este mundo está de pernas pró ar! Este mundo é deveras irritante meus caros. Vou trabalhar a ver se passa.

Apdeite

Ontem fui uma vampira medieval no ano da graça de 1209. Marcelle Villaret, aristocrata da Normandia, viúva e senhora de muitas terras, sedenta de poder e glória entre mortais. Bons contactos no mundo dos vampiros, um mentor capaz de proteger, carisma e manipulação como as mais desenvolvidas das capacidades, atraindo a atenção de todos. Estatura média, magra, ossos evidentes numa cara desprovida de emoção ou brilho, vestido violeta, longo como convinha na altura. Uma capa negra por cima, cabelos ocultos por um capucho, um medalhão de ouro, pesado, ostentando as armas da família e um inseparável anel com uma pedra escura de cor indefinida. Uma bolsa minúscula, verde escuro, acompanha-a em todo o lado.

Esta foi a personagem que desenvolvi ontem seguindo as indicações do P., o Mestre que criou a nossa aventura a partir de um livro de Role Playing Games. Junto com a Jo. e o Chr. tive a minha primeira incursão neste mundo. Começámos pelas 16:30 e terminamos o jogo às 2h. Foi curto, aparentemente. :o Fiquei a saber que algumas das aventuras chegam a durar semanas ou meses e as personagens desenvolvem-se ao longo do tempo.

Foi espectcular!

Entretanto dormimos até às 10h e lá venho pra casa, a tempo do brunch com o Mat. que fez uns pães de queijo deliciosos a acompanhar os 4 cafés da praxe :x

Seguimos depois até um bairro animado onde o P. me esperava junto com a Jo. e 1 ramo de tulipas :D Isto de ser mulher e lidar com malta da "old school" é outro nível. :) Terminamos com 1 chá chai de cardomomo, gengibre e pimenta para acordar e vim para casa arrumar (hoje é a minha vez) e descansar deste fds mal dormido mas muito interessante.

Amsterdam está na mira para fds prolongado xD

(Gosto de old school em momentos bonitos, gosto de ser surpreendida pelas boas maneiras de alguém... não gosto a tempo inteiro nem que me impeçam de ser gentil na mesma moeda)

Estou no Skype com o meu grego favorito e já comprei o bilhete pra ir na Páscoa a Amsterdam :D
Entretanto estou a planear uns diazinhos na Grécia numa ilhazita fabulosa no meio do nada :D
Ainda nao tenho bilhete de volta de amsterdam... olé!

Então não é que os metallica voltam a Lisboa e eu vou estar a 3 semanas de ir lá?
E têm varios concertos marcados pra Maio na minha outra terra mas, claro que não perto o suficiente... já que nessa altura eu vou estar no belo do canteiro-à-beira-mar-plantado durante esse tempo?
Não apetece trucidá-los por NUNCA terem 1 agenda compatível com a minha? há mais de 5 anos que temos estes quasi-encontros. A saga continua e, como alguém me lembrou é uma mensagem do Universo a dizer-me que há coisas mais fixes para eu fazer... ok, tudo bem, mas eu curtia mesmo. humpf

I just came back from Fe. & Siamac's B-day party.
I'll post some pics later on, if I ever get them. Which may never happen..
It was cool seeing so many friends and meeting new people as well. However, since I have been suffering from acute back pain for the last 2 days, I was on muscle relaxant (woooo), and therefore not allowed to drink alcohol. Such mixture may turn the already "funny" 2ary effects I've been experiencing into "very funny/unexpected" ones.
It was a private party in a bar with a giant and serious looking security guy making sure nobody was getting in without being invited. While all the others were dancing and enjoying the techno DJ, I was trying out the sofas nicely displayed in the room. Techno music all the time and Pusinko unable to dance (not that I love this style.. but at least I could move a bit). Afterwards we moved to 2 other bars which were closed and we ended up in a quite famous and kitsch gay bar in the center. The music, the people, and lights... amazing change.

Besides the great day that THIS Friday 13th represents (my blog was created a couple of minutes ago) there are several details about this day and this number, specially when they get together.
So, shortly I'll go through the general meaning of "Friday", followed by "13" and then the explosive mix.

About Friday:
- comes from the Old English frigedæg, meaning the day of Frige the Anglo-Saxon form of Frigg, a West Germanic translation of Latin dies Veneris, "day (of the planet) Venus." In most Romance languages is derived from Latin dies Veneris, "day (of the planet) Venus" (a translation of Greek Aphrodites hemera) such as vendredi in French, venerdì in Italian, viernes in Spanish, and vineri in Romanian. In most of the Indian languages, Friday is Shukravar (or a derived variation of Sukravar), named for Shukra, the Sanskrit name of the planet Venus. About the 13:
- There were thirteen participants at the Last Supper. Tradition states that Judas Iscariot, the disciple who betrayed Jesus, was the 13th to sit at the table.
Thirteen was once associated with the Epiphany by Christians, as it is said the child Jesus received the Magi on his thirteenth day of life. (CHRISTIANITY)
- 13 signifies the age at which a boy matures and becomes a Bar Mitzvah (Age of 12 for Girls, or Bat Mitzvah).

About Friday the 13th:
- One theory states that it is a modern amalgamation of two older superstitions: that thirteen is an unlucky number and that Friday is an unlucky day.

• In numerology, the number twelve is considered the number of completeness, as reflected in the twelve months of the year, twelve signs of the zodiac, twelve hours of the clock, twelve tribes of Israel, twelve Apostles of Jesus, twelve gods of Olympus, etc., whereas the number thirteen was considered irregular, transgressing this completeness. There is also a superstition, thought by some to derive from the Last Supper or a Norse myth, that having thirteen people seated at a table will result in the death of one of the diners.
• Friday has been considered an unlucky day at least since the 14th century's The Canterbury Tales, and many other professions have regarded Friday as an unlucky day to undertake journeys or begin new projects. Black Friday has been associated with stock market crashes and other disasters since the 1800s. Friday is named for Frigga, the free-spirited goddess of love and fertility. When Norse and Germanic tribes converted to Christianity, Frigga was banished in shame to a mountaintop and labeled a witch. It was believed that every Friday, the spiteful goddess convened a meeting with eleven other witches, plus the devil - a gathering of thirteen - and plotted ill turns of fate for the coming week. For many centuries in Scandinavia, Friday was known as "Witches' Sabbath."

- Another theory about the origin of the superstition traces the event to the arrest of the legendary Knights Templar. According to one expert: The Knights Templar were a monastic military order founded in Jerusalem in 1118 C.E., whose mission was to protect Christian pilgrims during the Crusades. Over the next two centuries, the Knights Templar became extraordinarily powerful and wealthy. Threatened by that power and eager to acquire their wealth, King Philip secretly ordered the mass arrest of all the Knights Templar in France on Friday, October 13, 1307 - Friday the 13th.

So, that's it. Today is Friday 13th, last month was the same and... wait for November and there we are again. Actually, 3 times a year is the maximum a Friday 13 can occur. Minimum is 1. So this year we are lucky ;)

Hey There

So, this is my 1st day as Pusinko.blogspot
I decided to start it for no reason other then writing whatever I feel like in the language I prefer at the moment.
This is an informal blog. It is kind of the moody room, fluctuating humor.
The name Pusinko is a Czech word I particularly like... not that I know many though.
Who ever shows up, please feel welcome.
